The first time I had to deal with Nicolas, I explained that he was no longer untouchable and that Lestat was through with protecting him. The second time, I gave him a demonstration. I’m not proud of my actions, but words mean nothing to him and he knows exactly which buttons to push.

I could have sent this privately, but I've decided to make my warning public. I find your recent actions despicable.
