The first time I had to deal with Nicolas, I explained that he was no longer untouchable and that Lestat was through with protecting him. The second time, I gave him a demonstration. I’m not proud of my actions, but words mean nothing to him and he knows exactly which buttons to push.

I don't think Nicolas is capable of learning any lessons. Unfortunately, I doubt this will be my last trip to Paris.

I feel somewhat responsible for his safety as Lestat has left this issue in my hands, but there is very little that I can do when he behaves so recklessly.

The past few weeks have been extremely frustrating. He simply refuses to listen to reason.

Nicki will survive, but I did leave our recent discussion with his blood on my hands.

It's only a matter of time before someone older or stronger than him destroys him. I can't imagine what that would do to Lestat.

Violence always feels good. I wish it didn't, but it's a part of what I am.

Oh Jeez, do Nicolas and the world a favor and kill that crazy musician. And we all would have no stress anymore. 😁
