My limbs felt heavy as I made my way up the stairs to our private room. I had spent much of the night with Lexia and found myself caught up in a hunt far too close to dawn

Feeling well? Far from it, but it's nice to see you as well.
He was not actually requesting that I join them, of course. It doesn't take a skilled mind reader to know what my answer would be to that. He simply wanted to be certain that I was aware of his presence.
That makes sense since Armand is kind of your neighbor now. I mean I don't know how many houses are between you but Lestat sort of hinted that your house was close to Armand's.
Ah well think of it this way now you can go over to Armand's and borrow his toys and he can come to your place and roll around with Lestat for a while keep him occupied while you visit Lexia.
Anyway I'm off to a hockey game. Work bought us tickets to the game(sea dogs and Shawinigan Cataractes), pizza and a beer. Should be fun.
We are in the same area of London. I'm fairly certain that is part of why Lestat chose this house.
What are you implying, chérie? I don't see Owen as any sort of toy, but I thought I might bring him a meal as I doubt that Armand keeps his refrigerator stocked with food.
Don’t sweat it. Stuff happens. I’m just so very happy you’re back.
I understand that. Nobody wants harm to come to the ones they love. Not usually, anyway. She seems pretty capable, though which is good. I worry more for Mirella, though. There’s not much I can do about that, though.
It's easy to lose track of time with an infinite amount of it at your disposal.
As long as she spends time in my company, I fear for her safety. I would never cause her any intentional harm, but there will always be a part of me that wants to.
I try to keep my distance from Mirella. I don't want to cause any more confusion.
I’m glad you were able to be good company for Owen although under the circumstances it was quite inconvenient to say the least. Lexia seems good as well too. How are you fairing though?
I sincerely hope you will forgive my late reply. I must have missed your message here.
I do enjoy spending time with Owen, though I will admit that my intentions were not entirely good. My visit was selfish and vengeful in nature. My actions at Armand's home could have resulted in more harm and unhappiness for Owen, but I am pleased to see that this was not the case.
There’s no need to apologize. We all get busy from time to time.
Maybe so. I’m kind of in the mindset still of Armand kind of deserved that. In more ways than one I think it worked out better despite the initial reaction. I’m glad Owen has less restrictions.

I don't really know what to say. I'm sorry you had such a shock.
He's left me for a few hours at a time, but this is new.

This wasn't the first time I've found Armand in our bed and it likely won't be the last.

Yes, you are right, of course. But that was the chance to make him speechless! At least for a moment.

Ah, I see what you mean. Unfortunately, I do not think it's possible to shock or surprise Armand. He can easily read my thoughts.

Armand and Lestat? Again? Yeah this is going to get messy.

I hope you’ve been having a nice time with Lexia in the meantime, and most of the time away was enjoyable :).

I enjoy Lexia's company very much, but I do have concerns. I would never want her to be in any danger.
