Singh, Singh, Singh

Dec 08, 2018 20:46

I have been to therapy courtesy of the rather marvelous Dr. Singh, who was recommended by Ian Manning, my Talamascan friend. Dr. Singh met with us in her London office just as if I was a mortal who was in need of relationship guidance. A most extraordinary experience! And Louis actually came with me.

I don't know what happened there. He actually agreed and without a fight or the destruction of the known world. And we sat there together in front of this mortal woman who had no idea what or who we were, and we did it. We actually sat through a session.

how was it?

Unprecedented.

Obviously I used an alias and there was a limit to how much I could really tell her, all things considered, but I was as honest as a vampire masquerading as a mortal could be. I still can't quite believe that I got Louis to come with me.

I first thought she was in on it all. Of course that makes things tricky. But i still think that you both (individually or as a "couple") could benefit from it.

Yeah, it makes honesty difficult, but I go as far as I can. I rather like her. She's highly observant. In fact, she keeps me on my toes. She knows I'm lying about something.

Two vamps on the couch. Now I've saw everything.

What did she said?

She is very clever. Most observant. I was excited to be there but Louis looked as if he was waiting in a tumbril for the guillotine. She asked us what we wanted out of it and why we were there and the trickier one - how long had we been together.

I would have preferred the guillotine.

It really wasn't that bad. I didn't even laugh. What if she's right about us? What then?

I’m so happy to hear about this! Ecstatic, even!
If you both keep at it and push through the uncomfortable bits, I assure you’ll get results!

Bonsoir, petite! Yes, isn't it a veritable miracle? Of course, he still thinks it's all a preposterous idea, but it happened. We were both there.

Hello! I hope everything is well for you tonight :).
I had no doubt that you were gonna check it out, I’m just elated to find that Louis tagged along.
I’m sorry to hear that he was uncomfortable, though. I hope that doesn’t stop you from continuing. This sort of stuff is never going to be comfortable.

I don't know what possessed him. It couldn't be more out of character, but he did come with me. He couldn't have looked much less thrilled at the prospect, but he was there. And he participated, just a little, but you have no idea how amazing that is.

So would you go see her again?

I am seeing her again! I'm all signed up.

On the other hand Louis says he won't go again.

She might ask if you can get him to come in again if you keep talking about you and him.

Ha. She has no idea how hard that is.
