The Waiting Game

Dec 07, 2009 10:12

So I'm overdue now, just as I knew I would be. Never mind all those annoying 'experts' who kept telling me I'd go on time or whatever. I know my body better than anyone else and it know I have to keep waiting. My midwife is coming over on Thursday so if I haven't gone into labour by then we might do a few things in order to get the situation ( Read more... )

I have some more freezer paper from my trip if you need any. I would also like to offer you some of the transfer paper as i have two different sorts "somewhere" in my craft room. But i bought them a couple of years ago now and then promptly put them somewhere safe so it may take me forever to find them.

I had a bit of a melt down on the weekend. While i was away Nathan "tidied" the house which invovled tkaing every item of mine that was left on a shelf or table that he thought shouldn't be there and put them in boxes and put them in storage upstairs. He even went through all my toiletries in the bathroom and some papers i had in a drawer. And rearranging the pantry and putting itmes that i use regularly where i can't reach them anymore. I can't find anything. It came to a breaking point on Saturday. i couldn't have killed him for doing that.

At least after my complete meltdown he built me the spice rack he has been promising for 4 years.

I've been pretty frugal about using the freezer paper so I should be fine with that. After this little burst of stencilling I have no idea when I'll actually get around to it again. And if you find the transfer paper then let me know but don't actively search for it. I used up a lot of colour ink on the failed squares and I can't afford to replace that cartridge right now.

Sounds like Nathan was just trying to get the place cleaned up a bit while you were away, and considering how awful the weather was back then (our lovely 43C heatwave) I can see why he wasn't in the garden. Sounds like you have the perfect opportunity to work together to agree on a specific place for everything now, so if things are tidied again you'll both know where to put everything and where to find it all again too.

we're working on that - it's just taking time. I never seem to have enough time, but i know i'm not the only one.

At least the weather is more pleasant. Everything seems more bearable with there's good weather
