So many people have asked me if I got the home birth I wanted, and each time I laugh a little.  I certainly got the home birth but I can't say it went exactly how I wanted.  You'd think with my third baby I'd be able to recognise the signs of labour right?  Or at least make some basic connections between separate events.  I can only say that it ( Read more... )

So I'm overdue now, just as I knew I would be. Never mind all those annoying 'experts' who kept telling me I'd go on time or whatever. I know my body better than anyone else and it know I have to keep waiting. My midwife is coming over on Thursday so if I haven't gone into labour by then we might do a few things in order to get the situation ( Read more... )
