I'm feeling quite peaceful this morning. The last couple of days have calmed me down and I got to visit with some old friends that are near and dear to my heart last night. I guess I should start with Thursday and work my way through the weekend

I think it's interesting that you ended up liking Taken so much. Damian and I loved that movie too. He wants to buy it now, of course.

It's so cool that you two went to see the Winchester Mystery House! That is still at the top of my list of things to do. Now I want to go even more! How much did it cost for the tour?

I'm sorry your plans for Tahoe didn't work out. :-( I am sure it would have been a great trip if everything would have come together. That reminds me that I have been promising my girls for the past two winters that we were going to go to the snow. I had better get on it!

Of course, I would love to do graduation party pictures, but I am feeling like I may not be able to help her with what she wants. If she has seen my work and feels that she sees more "pretty" pictures than "awesome" or "creative" shots, then it's not likely that I would come up with something vastly different from what she has seen in the past. My work is what it is, and although I do try for different kinds of effects and angles all the time, my style is established and not easy to abruptly change. In addition, I tend to be inspired by my surroundings, and parties don't tend to be the place that I shine.

I don't mean to sound down on myself, but I also don't want Julie to expect one thing and receive another. :-)

I'm sorry. I hope you don't feel insulted at all. You know I think you're amazing at what you do. You know those pictures you took at the wedding that had the light swirling around? She really likes stuff like that.

If this isn't something you want to take on, can you recommend someone that is reasonably priced that might want too?
