I just got home from a show in Louisville where The Bouncing Souls, Dillenger Four, and Delay played. I got to spend the day with Sparky, Sara D, Ryan Woods, and Stephen. The Delicious tour was pretty incredible. I've been back in town for a little over a week now. We ended up coming back to Bloomington twice after the engines of two vehicles failed on us within 48 hours, and the second time we had to come back in town, we started leasing a van. An awesome van. There was some confusion surrounding the show tonight because apparently the night had been double booked or something. The Delicious played our first show of the tour last night in Champaign Illinois last night. We played in the upstairs room of this classy neighborhood bar. The space was kind of small but it filled up quick. We didn't fit particularly well with the other bands that played, so the crowd wasn't particularly into it. But it could have been worse! The Delicious are leaving for a 3 week tour one week from today. I'm super fucking excited to get on the road again. Touring is probably the single most fun and exciting thing I have ever had the pleasure of doing. I want to do it all the time.
