Hot damn. It has been quite awhile since I've payed attention to this livejournal thing. I finished my 4th semester of college. It may be my last. I plan on taking next year off to focus on other things. Namely bands. I could go on forever about why, but I'll leave it at this. Although the IU music school is awesome, I can't do it anymore. I'll be voting because I don't believe the choices that the republican party makes are the best for this country, or for you and me. Yes, hes a politician and at some level all politicians are full of shit, some more than others. But even if she gets the nomination, which she won't, I'll still be voting for her over McCain. On a basic level I know I lean left on more issues than not.

One vote certainly doesn't matter. Indiana isn't a swing state, and even then the electoral college is shady anyway. I'm still voting. As individuals we barely get any input into how our country operates and I'm certainly not throwing any my tiny insignificant chance to say something. Rebelling against that because our system is far from perfect seems like a waste to me. Then again, you've got the freedom to do whatever the hell you want.

I think, sure, do whatever you want, and have the right to do it, but if you don't vote and old MccccCainey wins, you might want to complain and you shouldn't, because you didn't even TRY to not get him elected.
I don't know, I guess I've got that whole women-fought-so-fucking-hard-to-get-the-right-thing that I just can't throw it away.
Those are my thoughts. Now I'm going to click on the "fucking hilarious" link.
