At first, I thought it would be funnier if the dinosaur guys were on roller skates. Then I realized by going back and forth with my eyes that they're funnier if I imagine them doing a stiff, robot dance.
Are they a two-view of a single character? I can't tell if the antenna is on the opposite side on the top one.
Masamune Shirow's sketchbooks, particularly Intron Depot 3, are full of guns. Unfortunately, he's switching over pretty hard to his relatively lifeless CG images. I'm sure one of those How to Draw Manga books is on guns. If there's a whole book on panties (they call it "How to Draw Manga Characters" or something) then there's gotta be one on guns.
