First exam over, and I'm still alive. In summary - it was 2 hours long and I had to write one essay on Twelfth Night and one on The Township Plays . I had no idea that Derek Walcott was campaigning to be made the next Professor of Poetry at Oxford! This is very cool. I haven't read any of Ruth Padel's work (she's running against him) but I intend to look her up pronto. Either way it would be cool - a guy from the Carribean or a woman - so yay!
