Congrats on getting a job. I've haven't worked yet but I am interning at the Veteran's Affair hospital for an elective I'm taking in Hospital Health care, basically I work for free and don't get paid but at least I can put it as a job reference when I do get a real job.

Thanks. I was thinking about interning at a hospital for my Medical Health Sciences class, but it's optional and I'd rather get paid if I can, so I'll suffer through fast food for now.

Next year I'm taking a class called Nursing Assistant and once I pass the test at the end I can work in hospitals as a Nurse Assistant, which pays about $10 an hour, and if I get certified by the Red Cross I'll get paid more.

What kind of stuff do you do at the Veteran's Affair?
