So I haven't posted in like months. I suck at life, I'll admit it. But now I'm on mid-winter break & I don't have to work too much right now. Supposedly January & February are fast food's slowest months. I'm not buying it. I've been there 4 months not & the last 2 have been much worse then the first 2. I'm alive & busy.
Over $360 in the bank from working so far. It's only about 4 or 5 weeks worth. Not too bad. I got a debit card - which makes me so happy. Since I can't drive, it'll be nice to be able to buy things online if I have to.

Orientation : 3 hours = $21.45
Movies day 1 : 3 hours = $21.45
Movies day 2 : 3 hours = $21.45
Day 1 : 3 hours = $21.45
TOTAL (so far): 12 hours = $85.50
Only one day of official work and I'm already at $85.50 (before taxes). Not too bad.

Guess who got a job at McDonalds? LOL, I can't help but laugh every time I think about it. But anyways, I went with my sister for her interview on Thursday (10-11) to fill out an application - which she'd already done online. I was at school for freshmen orientation from 3:00 - 8:30. I'm exhausted. We had to meet in the library and then we were sent to rooms with are group of 7 juniors, to plan for when the freshmen would come at 6:30. My group decided that you can't plan on an empty stomach, so we sent two people to get pizzas, bread sticks, and salads. Bad timing ( Read more... ) -
summer vacation has officially begun
Today - June 15th was the original date of this post - was my last day of school. Normally really exciting, but I'm actually sad to see this year end. I had amazing classes with some of the best teachers and a lot of friends in all of them. Only two more years of high school left...

Grr.. have I mentioned that I hate driving? I won't bore you with the details (this time), but I drove for the first time all summer and it was pretty rough. Actually, I thought I did pretty decent - except for one little turn - but my dad was in a bad mood, so he picked apart every little thing I did. One more month of summer vacation. I'm actually glad that it's slowly winding down. I haven't been in contact with many of my friends from school for the past month, so it'll be nice to see them again.
