birthdays

Oct 18, 2006 01:01

I just realized that for the first 18 years of my life, I'd celebrated my birthday every single year. However, in the 6 years since then, unless I'm miscounting, I've only had a single birthday party.

That's moderately depressing.

You should have a belated birthday party! =) I have several pounds of hamburgers that I would be happy to donate to the cause. =P

And happy belated birthday!

Throw yourself one! They are a lot of fun. I threw my own 40th party, and it was great.

I've found that most birthdays are only celebrated if you get up and organize it yourself. I had it easy in college since alibash is big into celebrating birthdays and always organized stuff for our shared birthday, but since then I've only celebrated my birthday after the fact, usually because I go "Oh crap, it's my birthday and I haven't organized anything yet."

So it's your fault : P

Happy nearly-a-month-late belated Birthday btw :)

Oh yeah, I agree that it's definitely my fault. :)

Part of the problem is that my birthday is always during Caltech's orientation week, and it becomes quite tricky to attempt to organize anything during that period.
