just realized that in downloading something i managed to delete everything in a certain folder where ive kept a ton of aim conversations, all my photos dating back to 2000 and other miscellaneous files. i feel like a great huge chunk of myself has been carved out. with a spoon. perhaps a grapefruit spoon
