....is the movie i just caught the tail end of on turner classic movies. there's a few great scenes at the end that are filmed around santa monica, like where the california incline goes from near third street promenade down to pch. it's amazing how undeveloped the beach was back then. anyways, it was nice to see california, even if only on ( Read more... )

i think i just dreamed of lowriders with lots of bass. and, somehow, i woke up more peaceful than usual, not grinding my teeth.

back to work - this is a crazy packed week for me, school-wise. i went to NYC last week, in case anyone is curious.

apparently someone just reopened a BP station that's meant to look like a Gehry building.

i almost can't believe this, except that there's so many pictures. have any of you driven past it? are they going to have to dull the metal and grind down portions so that the reflections off of it don't disturb the neighbors, just like the real Disney hall

the closest thing to the oracle or the east village other in our lifetimes might now be belly up.
