I loved this! What a perfect way for Tim to get the heck out of Dodge, and lord knows enough people have ended up on fishing boats for similar reasons. Tim's interview totally brought me back to the FNL pilot. Really well done.

Thanks - I love the idea of it - was one of devilc's prompts in my Yuletide assignment. I like that Tim is able to go away, have some space, make money, prove himself, be part of a team, and then go home for many months of the year to work on his house.

Not sure about continuing it. I have two other ideas, but one is probably too cracktastic and unrealistic. The other is way-far-future fic and much more likely to happen.
