[So after searching the Straw Hat house, being distracted by the contents of the kitchen, and having to break back in again, Katie has realised a certain skeleton appears to have fled the premises.

[Goroh isn't so much in the village as on the outskirts, on the northern side. There's a nice tree stump there (it wasn't him, Moro!) that he's sitting on and using a moistened whetstone to sharpen his sword. The question is, does a sword that can cut through steel really benefit from being sharpened in this manner? Fridge Logic.]

[Probably not, but the small kitten isn't about to point this out. She's meandering around the outskirts now, having verified the silly skeleton isn't in the village, and trying to find the musty, resin smell that follows Brook everywhere--oh, hello there, Goroh.

[Now, if Kirimi were an adult this wouldn't be a problem. Katie would have great fun fastening herself to said adult's face and scaring the life out of them. Because she can be mean like that. But this is a small girl, and Katie's rather attached to children.

She'll back off very slowly, until she's at a good distance away, then sit down on her paws, trying to look as harmless as possible.]

[Hell yes, she is. Friendly kittens get much more coddling, don't you know. You now have +1 kitty purring up a storm and practically pushing herself up into your hands to get the maximum petting goodness. She should totally do this more often.]

[Said kitten is sprinting at this point. Scent found, trying to catch up to certain idiot skeletons; nevertheless coming to a dead halt with a deer-in-headlights look when she sees Ginko-of-the-highly-distracting-echoes. Uh. >.>

It's...much harder to ignore kitten-pouncing instincts when one is, in fact, a kitten. And so she slows practically to a halt and takes a few uncertain steps around the mushishi, tail twitching, and staring at Ginko (or past him) as if he were a cute and highly edible mouse.

It's okay. She'll just circle around him. And start edging off.]
