i have always used two for some reason. Not sure the reason why i use two.

I always use two ... but that's only when I do laundry ... which is rare. But I do make sure that my fabric softener is the same brand and scent as the dryer sheets, if you do that AND use two dryer sheets, your laundry will smell really, really good.
