YAY! I'm so excited to see an update. Thank you for another great chapter. Poor Matt and Min~ seems like it's going to take a long time for them to get it right.

I do the same thing! Although, not always so coherently. Today it was more like "OOOOOOOOIIIIIIOOOOO YAY!"

Aaahh! I do love this update. Matt and Min are so interesting to read and I do love your Hollis with his Nuit too. Thank you so much for this great update.

Part I.:

“You spoil him.”
Nice line. :D (Personally - I don’t think Matt would spoil Alex. But if he does - I don’t mind at all. :))

Garthen shook his head. “Slaves need to be reminded of their place. If you’re too lenient, it’ll lead to trouble.”
You have no idea, Matt thought, repressing a smile.
I had to smile. :D

Matt’s eyes met Min’s as they both wondered: What now?
I liked the look. And the interaction.

Matt seriously doubted that, but he looked at Min, raising his brows in a silent question. Did he want to play?
Matt followed Min’s gaze as it flew to the little blond, who’d paled with terror. Matt knew that was answer enough, even before Min’s eyes shifted back to him, a ‘no’ clearly in their depths.
Matt’s silent question, wanting to know Min’s opinion pleased me.

“I’m a busy man, Garthen. I have better things to do with my time than bully pets for sport,”
Good answer.

Garthen frowned, looking at him and at Min, who when it seemed apparent Matt wasn’t going anywhere yet, dropped to his knees on the court. Bowed head ( ... )

Yeah, some more communication between them here. And yes, good timing is fun! :D

Yay puppies, indeed! Glad you were happy to see Hollis and Nuit again. I felt it was time we checked in on them.

Hehe, the wine thing was silly, but I thought it was a fun bit to add in here. Especially getting to put in Hollis and Nuit's reactions.

Part II:

Nuit didn't seem adversely affected however. He might embrace the privileges Hollis had granted him, but he still behaved respectfully. Unlike Min, who took pride in being offensive whenever he could get away with it.
True, there is a big difference between Nuit and Min (and I think there always will be a difference.) Still, I love the way, Hollis sees Min and Nuit and how different they are. And all the work he did with Nuit so far.

“If I did something that cruel and unfair, yes! I want him to see it's unfair, and be offended. He adores those puppies, and he'd be heartbroken if I took them away. If I did that, he should be pissed at me for being a bastard, not resigned.”
Hollis is such an amazing person.

It would be payback for Min drinking his wine earlier.

Min turned away. From his hunched shoulders, Matt guessed he was wishing himself somewhere far, far away.
Poor Min.

He knew better than to leave it in Min's 'accidentally' careless hands.The “'accidentally' careless hands” made me smile. (And AWWWW for the ( ... )

Whoops, catching up on comments finally.

Yeah, Hollis definitely has a different pov than Matt regarding those two. It's fun to play with.

What can I say, the boys enjoy teasing each other!
