Can I ask, in an unlocked post, which shul it was that had the ASL translation? It's a very interesting project to think about.

I believe it was the town and village synagogue. (Something and village, I'll have to double check).

Yes, horde is definitely a good word for the group we went to the movies with. Too bad the one friend I really wanted you to meet ended up not making it out of her apartment, though... And, even crazier, a number of people in that "horde of friends" were people I had just met that day at lunch.

:) It was still festive, had an interesting chat with that Joel dude, and got to hang out with you a bit. I'll catch her another time I'm sure, don't worry about it. Odds are she'll think I'm rather anti-climactic by the time we do meet.
