Sometimes, when there's lots of books about and absolutely nothing else to do, I pick one up and read it. I know, I know, my standards for entertainment have really dropped, but you know what? There's a lot of learning in books. I was reading one on the Roman army this afternoon and I learnt something really interesting. You know the word decimate?
