i finally saw what he looked like.

i've read so much on him, and have been absorbing myself in the show, since i'm directing Laramie Project for next fall. but i did not realize i hadnt seen Matt Shepard's face.

to see those eyes, and think about the lines from the play just completely and utterly terrifies and jolts me.

wow. i cant believe i'm 22. that means i was 16 6 years ago. wow. mind fuck. I cant believe how much has happened this year alone. I am taking (and not failing) Gen Chem, 5 classes both semesters, working 4 campus jobs, was lucky enough to work with an amazing cast and direct a VERY sucessful Vagina Monologues, and ran 2 half marathons. AH, so i havent been running in a week and a half..i'm sad about that because i LOVe running. but life has been crazy/finals..etc...

the half marathon was amazing this morning. TOTALLY rockin and rollin. 2:06. i'm totally jonesing for me, and am seriously considering a full one in march : )
