Well, many of you may know that Ryan is not yet speaking any English words. I have been trying for a very long time to get him to sign words to us, so we could communicate, but he has always just laughed or grinned, but would never actually do the signs back. I don't believe it, but we have MORE baby fish! I've caught four or five and seen at least three more! I thought one of the other female fish might have been a little too fat, but I wasn't sure. Last night, we had the Passion girls come out to the church. We decorated cookies, made Valentines, played games, had pizza, and just enjoyed each other! It was fun. Some of the girls showed a side of themselves that we don't see on Wednesday nights. That's neat to see their personalities come out in a more relaxed environment :) It was cool to ( Read more... )

Since I last made an entry, I lost another fish. This one was a black neon tetra. There is also one that is injured. I'm not sure how it happened, but he seems to be doing ok, so I suppose that he'll make it. Here are pictures of the adorable baby fish!

Well, the last count before going to bed last night was 9 baby fish. This afternoon when I was looking in on them, I discovered that one of my neon tetras was getting bullied and was going to be killed. About two weeks ago I found an aquarium with all the amenities at a garage sale. She was asking only $15 for everything, but saw my reticence and knocked it down to $10. I took it. I spent time getting it cleaned up and set it up and was waiting for my next paycheck to get some fish for it. That time finally came last night. I was thrilled to come ( Read more... )
