How are you so good with keeping them in character? I mean, I wish I could bottle whatever it is you have and then hand it out in spoonfuls to other writers because they way you do what you do is top knotch.

Emily's perspective (not just as a broken-hearted girl, but as a lesbian having sex with a man) was perfect. She wanted to use Cook as...as basically a human vibrator. Some attempt at reconnecting with someone else.

Reading all of this Emily heartbroken and sleeping with others makes me...REALLY WANT TO READ A POST 408 NAOMILY FIC! **sobs** I want to believe in love again!

I was a bit skeptical when I saw the pairing for this, because Emily with a guy, any guy, doesn't make much sense to me. But your skill and knowledge of the characters is so profound that it doesn't matter, it all works. You have these voices down to a pat, I'm so impressed (though I shouldn't be, since I've read your other stuff so I know what you can do ;) ). I liked the way you wrote the sex scene, it was kind of hot but also not at all. It's still only about Naomi for Emily, and the way it all went down felt very realistic to me ( and very lesbian despite the het), so much so that I could imagine it happening in canon. So yay you! :)

P.S. I was very relieved that Cook didn't scare the crap out of Emily (and me) by shouting "squeeze my balls!" this time. He knows when to pick his moments, thankfully. ;)

I think I agreed with twistomatic ages ago that Emily fucking Cook only works if she's thinking about Naomi at the time, you know? Like this is definitely a lesbian having sex with a boy, just because she can. I think that makes sense.

Thanks for having faith in my characterisation! ♥ It's the first time I've written Cook so that's wicked.

Oh, and yes - one of the benefits of Emily being fucked from behind is that she's not in the right position to do that! I think she would have told him to get to fook if he'd asked, though ;)

I mean, I only really wrote it because I felt like it, and I was a bit apprehensive about posting, but it's had a good response so I'm glad that I did!

Cook's my favourite boy too. I think that probably comes across here :)

Yeah, they just needed someone. And it's not the best way to do it, probably, but it works for a bit of smut here!

I kind of... I stand by Katie thinking that Cook is disgusting. But maybe if she wore sexy underwear like Panda (lol) instead of a curtain then Cook would take an interest and she'd be all like bashful and they could run away together.

And it works because Cook is Naomi's BFF. They could take their twins on double dates ♥

I never post my fics on comms (well sometimes I post the long ones but then I forget!!) so they never go past my friends! You know? So I expect most of you to be open-minded. My journal is basically Katie/Naomi-land anyway!
