Finished writing application to my funding body to take on a summer student. The description, methods, work plan, reference about the student, list of benefits to her and to me etc etc all written and within the word limit. Head of Dept and central admin approval got finalised today. All we need now is for the student to write her bit.

Oh yeah, and I got another OU essay back. 68. Which is a C in OU terms. Tutor remarked on my not going to tutorials. Like he doesn't know he made the first one hellish for me.

While out getting the computer connector I walked past a hairdresser called The Lunatic Fringe. Made me smile. If I ever get a haircut that's where I'll go.
