Story: "Lions" - A tale of the Sacred Band

This is a story about the Sacred Band of Thebes I wrote some time ago. The Italian version of this tale was recently chosen for publication on the Italian magazine "voci" by Kappa edizioni, and the story has been illustrated by a couple of professional illustrators. Thank you. Actually it came as a surprise, as I didn't really expect for the story to be chose, when I sent it. But I was very pleased they did, and it has been of great encouragment to me. :)

Congrats, congrats, congrats! The illustrations are (imho) also quite lovely. Dimaratos makes a delicious bishounen. ♥
It's amazing to see homoerotic fiction given legitimacy at all, but your story justifies said legitimacy.

And you are so right...I love how they portraied Dìmaratos in the pics *hearts Dìmaratos*
I had a face like this - *_* - when I first saw the illustrations!

I was so glad you were among the first to read it, it was a lot of fun, that evening at my place, when we where discussing all the possible ways to translate that famous "deal one's death"'s paragraph! XD!
