the joy of running, and why I love some sports so much
Went running 5k around my condo estate grounds this evening, right after the rain stopped. It was a most wonderful, joyous run -- so tireless and enjoyable that I ran at a faster-than-usual leisurely pace -- 25 mins for 5k. slower than my usual 2.4, but you cant really compare the two. Sometimes I think I expect too much of friends; it's wrong of me, and I apologise for that. There're friends who have supported me and done so much for me, more than I deserved, and I really appreciate it. finally finished IS first draft
Self explanatory title. Okay, so after weeks of slogging through my IS, I have finally finished the paper, entitled "Can Notions of Human Beauty be Universal?". So I ought to be happy. I am! But. My completed first draft is...7023 words long. Overshot by 4023 words. GG! I'm dead! >. -

SO bored the entire weekend. lamenting the end of school
Chem lesson today was funny. interesting. took a short video of the colour-changing test tube solution with my nice new handphone, but can't seem to upload it online. screwups
sigh. why do I keep making mistakes? i always start off with the best of intentions, wanting to make all parties involved happy, and in the end, somehow, i end up making some people unhappy because of mistakes i did not foresee.
:( sad case. sometimes taking care of everyone's interests and concerns is really tough. -
running in the rain; thoughts on gender
went running 2.5k in the morning from my hse to Bkt Batok with kao, to have breakfast. ran 4+ k on my way back alone, cos i took the wrong route due to my wonderful sense of direction, and got caught in a downpour while running home. so i ran nearly 7km today. and yes, i realise there's a fine line between resolve and obstinacy ( Read more... )
