The corset for my Mythic Feiya cosplay arrived today. Sometimes I wonder if LMB created the Ghem Estif Arqua family after someone brought up that the cast of the Vorkosiverse was disproportionately monochrome. So she decided to write about a family with five brown kids and six technicolor kids. -

I'm thinking of starting a Cheap Vegetarian Cooking blog. Because most of the vegetarian recipes online seems to veer toward the foodie end of the spectrum, which is great for inspiration or when you want something fancy, but is more than even people with well-equipped kitchens who don't live in food deserts may want to tackle for everyday. -

I'm watching BBC Sherlock's first two seasons in preparation for Series 3. I'm currently watching "The Great Game" with the assumption that Sherlock is really an incredibly bright but undersocialized fifteen year old with some kind of exotic growth disorder, and nothing I've seen yet has contradicted this idea.
Really, it would explain so much. -

First Night had a lot of good offerings this year. I think Moby Alpha (Moby-Dick as a two-man scifi comedy) was probably the highlight for me, although Stephanie Anne Johnson put on a hell of a show. I'd recommend seeing either of them live if you get the chance. -

Unpopular Elementary Opinion of the day - Sherlock doesn't need to become more sensitive, he needs to use the emotional intelligence he has on a more regular basis.
