Awesome. Not. See, my dad may be driving the company truck around in this, and I cannot reach him, even though I paged him and everything. This is the guy who had to run away from the June 9 1953 tornado in his truck. ARRGH!

This has been an interesting summer in my neck of the woods. Back on July 2, we had penny-sized hail (about .75"), and lightning struck the apartment building across the street. Nine apartments were destroyed and the entire building is vacant until it can be repaired. One the 20th, several people were struck by lightning at a local soccer game. ( Read more... )
