In the main room of the Mansion, two young men are sitting on the floor by the fireplace. The mancala board is lying between them, somewhat neglected, although Florence still has a pebble in hand; he turns it in his fingers idly as he listens to Melou, who is talking earnestly

Melehan stands at a sort of awkward attention when he runs across said family members.

"Brother. Cousin."

[floweredknight]

"Good day!" Florence beams up at him. "Cousin, I've not seen thee--"

"I know it," he agrees, and even manages not to sound military-sharp as he does it. "The fault is mine."

"Sit with us!"

[lionbright]

Lleu, catlike, insinuates himself between the game and the fire.

"Good, you're using it."

Being enslaved for three years has had the curious effect of giving him more authority, rather than less.

he is lost in about half a dozen different timelines at the moment. so carpe diem. the twins would like to meet melehan, too, but maybe it's too many for one slender thread!

"Sir! Ay, I mean to show him how 'tis done."

Melou absolutely blossoms at Lleu's presence, although not quite as much as he would if it were Goewin (isn't that a terrifying thought?).

Florence laughs. "An I can learn." (This is modesty; Melou has been losing even as he instructs.) "Good day."

"Well, I will be no help. This is my usual place, watching my sister and Medraut battle it out."

He looks up and calls across the room, "Goewin! Come and laugh at them!"
