The floating lights-lanterns that appear in the night sky every year on my birthday.

Oh. That's a lot of lanterns just to celebrate your birthday. [he honestly doesn't mean it as gruffly as it sounds. he's just surprised-- that's a lot of people celebrating one person's birthday, after all.]

They're not for my birthday! They just happen to appear on my birthday. Every year only on my birthday. Still, I can't help but-feel they're meant for me.

[The video feed strangely shows the night sky of Somarium, the faint light of the moon at one corner, the stars filling the rest of the screen. Someone is deliberately holding his Dreamberry at a distance from his face: Bee is in robot mode by the Lake.

It's his first time experiencing a dream and the Autobot is confused. He wonders what are those floating lights as well, but mostly, he wonders why a mother would tell such a thing to her child. He can agree with the older woman, especially after what happened on Earth, but still, this seems a bit exaggerated.]

The world is also filled with good and kind people and those that would protect humans at all cost.

...I know. I think little by little... I've been learning that maybe my mother wasn't right about the world after all.

She said it was too dangerous and I wasn't strong enough to handle myself outside, so I never left.

I've seen and learned so much since then and I know now that there's so many wonderful things in the world, too.

A lantern festival, they can be a lot of fun.

Lantern festival? Have-you've gone, you've seen them?!

Well I haven't seen one that big, but I've been to a few o-ban (lantern festivals), I've done a few paintings of them for classes too. Usually they're in the summer, so it would be the perfect time for one if the weather would cooperate.

There are other festivals like that? Not just the one I see from my window every year?

Someone told me they're lanterns, floating lights that are released every year on the night of my birthday. It's my dream to see them up close one day.

That's something about them that makes me think they're meant for me! I have to see them. My mother always told me it was too dangerous to go outside, but... now I know there's so many good things about people, too.
