I just got a job at Fred Meyer this afternoon, well when they get the drug test results back. I have nothing to worry about since I don't do narcotics. My current hourly wage is going to be 7.65 an hour. The reason it is higher than minimum wage is that I have to join a union and pay the union dues every month which is 35 dollars. Nice! Fred Meyer looks good as a starting job because they're really picky about who they hire. Just be sure to stick with it for a year or so.

Good luck trying to afford all that stuff. I can hardly do it with my fulltime-ness/pay rate.

Which store are you working at and how many hours are you getting?

I have already worked at kohls as a cashier, and at Target as sales clerk so I have had experience with such work. I will be getting around 25-30 hours a week. I will be working at the Raliegh Hills Fred Meyer, so pretty far from you >:P
