Okay, guys, it's finally here. I'm getting out of California and returning to Texas. Due to lack of success in the job department, my parents have conscripted me as the landscape designer of their bare backyard. My gardening career end as soon as I make my way to Austin. Digging a pond in the summer Texas heat? No, it won't be nice for me.

I'll come back and visit next year, without a doubt. Plane fare to Houston was less than $200 round-trip the last time I checked. And if I'm in Austin, I'm totally willing to have guests during SXSW. Who can say no to HUNDREDS of bands congregating in one place?

Well, I must say, I'm excited to have dogs again. I think it's the highlight of the move. My boys are crazy, but I miss having animals around. Even though last time I was home, Alex ate one of my socks and started on a pair of dirty underwear from my laundry basket.

hahah, don't think that you can escape. When exactly are you coming? I need to hook you up with my fun friends. That way at least SOMEONE will understand what the hell you're talking about!

I'm pretty sure there isn't anyone who understands what I go on about ;)

Actual stone-engraved dates are in a quantum state right now, but the conference is the 28th-29th April, with possibly a day or two either side to allow for things like organisation, sleep, and sweet-shop raiding.
