I started researching before I got my apartment in Los Angeles. I thought I'd possibly be living in a pet-friendly environment. But I realized that it wouldn't be the most responsible thing to do at that moment; definitely not worth messing up my lease prospects and/or contract.

I've been in contact with the local Houston GPA, read quite a bit about greyhound experiences, and am thinking about fostering a bit before actually adopting "my" dog. I'm aware of dental issues, environmental issues, and quite a few behavioral "quirks" of greyhounds. Essentially I've mulling over this for over a year. And when have I ever done anything without research, eh? I'm planning on being a librarian. ;)
