Wow, what a week. Tomorrow is the last day of my internship at the school, and so far it has surpassed my expectations in every way. I connected well with the kids, we worked hard together, and hopefully in a few weeks we will have a kick-ass movie to prove it. Wow...slightly complicated result to our national elections - so here goes my feeble attempt at summing up. First of all - we weren't even supposed to vote this year. Elections were scheduled for 2006 - but things got tricky, as I will explain.

So the idea of this orientation internship is for the budding educator to get a first look into the milieu in which they hope to work someday. Most education students complete this internship a little earlier in their studies than I, without having any practical experience to speak of.
