In other news, life is good. AMS was awesome possum and I am very glad I went.

But currently I am stressed and sort of emotionally exhausted. I am having trouble seeing God in alot of things, I guess.

My elbows are sore. REALLY sore, I think possibly too much fluting and typing with bad posture.
Also, I got my transcripts from the U of A today! This is exciting because it means I can actually apply for OGS but annoying because now I have to write a proposal in 5 days. Sweeeet......

Not much happened today. Basically, I practiced, went to english,handed in my paper on a poem that initially I thought was about music but actually was very much about sex and then went to a rather terrifying contemporary techniques rehearsal. So umm.. it's been a month. That was not supposed to happen. Basically, life has been going, in the way that it does, sometimes stellar, sometimes not so much. I am really ready for auditions to be over, bleh... I hate all the stress and the speculating. Also, I am sort of done with liking the solo from Ravel's Daphnis and Chloe, although I generally think the piece is beautiful and even someone who only listens to rock could be converted to liking orchestral music by giving it a listen ( Read more... )

I figured since I have disapparated for quite awhile, I should probably post about what exactly occurred during my disappearance. My Dad,younger brother and I backpacked the Brazeau lake loop in Jasper National Park between Aug 21 and Aug 27.
