choas magick seems like it would a religion to me, lack of dogma notwithstanding. it involves the supernatural, wouldn't that make a faith/ religion.

mhm not necessarily. i don't know anything about the specifics of chaos magick, but a belief in magical powers is not on its own a faith. now if there are beliefs about where the power came from, it could be a faith. if the source of power is not a god/godess, then i'm not sure what the answer is.

shrugs. has some in common with it, aye.
could just as easily say its to ceremonial magic or magic in general what core shamanism is to shamanism--boiled down to its heart. what all traditions have in common.
what works is what you do. nods.
practical and flexible...and usually what ppl are doing anyways, without having thought it out...
