I have not created an entry for quite some time, due to time constraints; I had taken the day off from work to have a 3 day weekend, & wasn't able to do what I'd planned; I am home today with a sore throat, cough, headache, chills, & feeling dizzy when I stand up. I went to Yoga class this morning, & the teacher requested that since it's Memorial Day, we remember our loved 1's who have left their bodies.  I had lost sooo many people to AIDS, it was overwhelming. She instructed us to evoke 1 person who we revered, & may have changed our lives. This was not difficult for me; my friend, John Bernd saved my life ( Read more... )

It's 4:10 AM; I was awakened by my sweet cat, Jezzy, meowing rather loudly about 15 minutes ago. She killed a spider. I can't fall back to sleep. My very 1st LJ entry, & I'm kvetching!  I have lived with companion animals my entire life; grew up in a menagerie. I can't imagine life without that connection : - ) .
