My boss keeps asking me to add references to his Wikipedia page... and all I manage to do is read the instructions until my head spins with absolutely no comprehension

I would love to not be 'allowed' to edit this page. I found a page on Wikipedia about how to do it, but it just made my head spin. The part of my brain that understands stuff like this just doesn't work anymore.
I couldn't talk to him about it today because I was just so freaking upset and pissed and don't make sense when I'm like that.
Looks reasonably straightforward; I'm pretty sure I've done this before (disclaimer: I only have a few hundred edits on Wikipedia and although we have used Mediawiki at a couple of previous employers we didn't use citations much - I am by no means an expert.
As for not being allowed to edit the page... you're deep in the gray area. I'd be trying to get out of it too; not out of laziness but because I am generally incredibly careful about this. You might want to call your boss' attention to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest and ask for guidance on how to handle the COI issue.
yeah, I think so. And it didn't make sense to me and won't now (current headache)
I'm going to spend a little time on this this week. Find source info and keep a list. Then I'm going to try to bribe someone to do the actual geeky stuff. I don't want to change any content - just add citations. (I've found some source info in the past, but then I get frustrated because I can't figure out what to do with it and I don't even bookmark the things I've found. stupid. So, I have to start from scratch on that. But this time, I'm not going to even try to add it myself.

Anyhow, Wikipedia editing is non-trivial. I haven't worked on it myself, but I can see if there are tutorials.
