On February 17th, 2001 Chessie and I came home from the humane society together. I wish he were still with me. Miss you, Chessie.

I think it started back in 1983. I was living at home and going to college - mostly at Penn State, Berks campus... but I took some summer courses at Kutztown where I met D. What do you tell a 5-year old that asks you that? His Aunt's cat is currently visiting his grandparents house and the poor thing hates all children. But gradma thinks he should get a cat. I agree, but how to teach a 5-year old to appreciate one? I wish I had more time to talk to him today about it.
