I got back from Guatemala over a week ago. It was an absolutely amazing and eye opening experience. I really hope that I can go back next year (I would love to do my summer clinical placement there for three months but unfortunately there are several reasons that is not practical). Anne and I got our haircut last Friday. My dad had just gotten his camera back (it was being fixed) so he took a bunch of pictures. My hair is pushed back in the pictures so it does not look as good, but they are the best pictures of the two of us in a while.

The past two days it has reached 100 degrees outside (and it has felt even hotter). Today it was very humid as well. I went shopping at Kohls today with my mom. The lady at the cash register couldn't get the security tag off a pair of shorts I was getting and told me it was a sign from Jesus telling me not to get the shorts because they were too short! So I worked as a substitute for BOCES (special ed) for several weeks. I mainly worked with autistic children which is a change because most of my experience is with children who have more physical disabilities.
