Have we run out of things to say? It seems like most of us believe 140 or 450 characters is plenty to encompass any thoughts we have anymore. Microblogging != blogging! I wonder what the next big (or small) thing is going to be - not that messages can get much shorter than Tweets.

By the time I get caught up with TV shows on the dvr from this season, fall season will have started. Darn sunshine!

Despite the best attempts of my allergies to ruin my day, I still managed to get out and have a productive day. Don't want to be aloft while congested so I cancelled a planned flight, but no way am I gonna be stuck inside on a day like this! I am happy I made it all the way home, sorta. My car did just fine until I turned into my driveway from the alley, where it just wouldn't go, forwards or backwards. Having to chain up to make it into the garage is pretty humbling, although I think the alternative of leaving the car on the street and having to dig it out in the morning is worse, ( Read more... )

The latest version of iTunes, along with the overpriced Touch, have a new Genius playlist/sidebar feature which is a great idea, at least in theory. Pick a song in your playlist, and it generates a playlist with similar songs for you to listen to. The Sidebar is similar except it links to songs you don't have and urges you to buy them. Today this nice older woman on the bus told me that I looked like Kevin Bacon. Was that a compliment or was she calling me old? He is almost 20 years older than me!
