Sunday thoughts
So far today I have typed out 2 replies to penpals (most of my penpals I handwrite my letters, but these two always type 3-4 page letters, so I reply with just as much so typing is a necessity since my hand cramps). Need to start dinner soon, cube steaks with a creamy mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes.

This is not how the year was supposed to start....
Between the massacre in New Orleans and the Cybertruck explosion in Las Vegas, I am just sickened/saddened at the way this year is starting out. This wasn't supposed to happen.
My heart breaks for all the families who lost loved ones in New Orleans, and for all those whose lives have been forever changed because of it.

Happy New Years Eve - Eve
Usually when I do the Class Action lawsuit privacy claims, I get back a couple of dollars, but today I got $300 in one! That will make a nice dent in my Christmas bills! Wasn't expecting that much at all.

Post Christmas randomness
Had family Christmas with the kids and their families yesterday and everyone seemed very happy with their gifts. I was most happy just having them home with me. I didn't even take many pictures. I was just in the moment and enjoying my time with them.

Sitting here watching "Christmas Chronicles 2" after watching the first movie. So much fun to watch in our opinion. Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn!
It's Christmas week and I have a lot to do....clean the house, bake, launder the towels and bedding for the guest room. Will probably bake Christmas day since the kids are coming for our family ( Read more... )
