My labwork results are in. I didn't really pay attention to all of them, just my A1C, which was 7.2 in May and is now at 6.5! Yay. Definitely a result I can be happy with. See my doctor on Thursday. Next round of labwork will be in 6 months. Hubby has not got an official report yet on the CT scan of his throat, but he looked at the online ( Read more... ) -

Had my labwork today. My doctors appointment is next week. Now I impatiently wait for my lab results. (Really gotta stop refreshing their page). Fingers crossed that my A1C has gone down. Will also be curious to what the doctors office scale says. I know what mine says, but for them, it's theirs that counts.

My nephew and his wife had their baby last night. A little cutie they named David Uriah. He sent pictures and the baby is absolutely adorable.
Started this and realized the time. I have to start dinner soon. Hopefully I'll remember to get back to this.

I started sorting my stickers (mostly used for letter writing) today. Made tabs with themes until I ran out of tabs, and placed them on 5x7 index cards. Filed the stickers appropriately. The box I have for them is too big (for now) so they fell over, but will be slowly working on sorting out the rest of my stash as I go, and filling the box up ( Read more... ) -

I really like this site, obviously, since I am still here after all the years (excluding some breaks). But it is more and more frustrating that outside of the people I currently follow, it is hard to find communities and people that I'd like to get to know better. I can search interests, but everything is outdated. I do visit the add me groups ( Read more... ) -
Yawn....fresh air makes me sleepy
On our way home from our Fall Color Tour in the camper. Should be home by noon tomorrow. I took soooooo many pictures. Will post something about it in the days to come. Now to sleep.

September Reads
I finished 5 last month, all on Kindle. Beginning to think I should just put the nonfiction book I started weeks ago off to the side for now since I haven't even picked it up in a while. Part of the problem is I renewed my Kindle Unlimited subscription, so I have so many interesting books to read that I don't have physical copies of, and it's ( Read more... )
