A question of choice (gender preference)

I know that most people on the pro-homosexuality side of the whole gay rights issue tend to think that being a homosexual is a matter of genetics, for the most part. Certain genes tend to create changes in people that make them predisposed towards their own gender. I have heard that there is also scientific evidence for this. ...Oh, and you spelled Hypocrisy wrong. Unless you were talking about an institution (Theocracy, Hypocracy?)
