while i was studying down near the water, a gander of geese slowly grazed towards me. their heads dart around the grass so quickly, it is hard to determine if they are really eating anything or not. here is a picture. it took them maybe 45 minutes to graze about 20 feet.

i keep re-reading this, and everytime it makes me smile. i love stories accompanied by pictures. especially when they're really cute stories like this. good work andy chen.

i went down there again today but sat in a different spot. the geese and ducks were in about the same place, so i guess i just chose well yesterday. it was a little earlier, and i guess i could have stayed longer but it was sort of windy and cold.

i'm glad you enjoyed it. i was distressed because you sounded bummed out in your lj post. and something is totally wrong if the most optimistic cheer-bringing person i know is bummed out.

i miss doing this. Kyle and I used to walk down to the waterfront and sit under the Montlake bridge, it was awesome.
