while i was studying down near the water, a gander of geese slowly grazed towards me. their heads dart around the grass so quickly, it is hard to determine if they are really eating anything or not. here is a picture. it took them maybe 45 minutes to graze about 20 feet.

there have been some awkward coincidences in the last two days, so i will post of them. on wednesday after my 830 (too early) final, i decided to go down to the uw outdoor crag. armed with hand warmers and a steely determination, i hashed out some problems. a mixture of groginess and cold swept over me, forcing an early retirement. after arriving ( Read more... )
