Does anyone else find it strange that the majority of people on the planet beleive a man rose from the dead, a boat existed which carried two of every species through a world wide flood, a man lived inside a whale, a place exists in some beautiful and perfect dimension as of yet unseen or unproved where we go when we die and if we refuse to beleive

The bible, for me anyway is just a book of stories with really good morals to apply to life how you would like to. Do you apply the details of fairy tales to your life litterally? I think not. Yet still growing up that is one of our tradiotions around the worl we use to teach children to basics of right and wrong. Age has no validity on finding your faith, but experience dose. Alot of people in my opinion do not find spirituality, faith, or their ture beliefs until later in life because it isn't until they have a good grasp of themselves through trials of good and bad they feel comfortable making that sort of decision. To each his own. Only time will tell how you feel. Right now you feel this way. Next week who knows.

i can't think of a time i was ever really passionate about christianity. church is something i went to, but it didn't make me a better person for sitting in a "holy place" for 2 hours. in fact a lot of the time minutes after the service ended, my famly was back to our bickering ways.

i'm just trying to be the best person i can be.

it's closer to a third (Islam actually beats out Christianty in terms of population at about one billion)

ps and scientology is so far from being an actual religon it is not even funny. actually it is funny, but seriously its like scientology takes all the bad parts of religon and none of the good
