i agree with about 99% of what you've stated here.

I won't add more because I can't seem to find the right words to really express myself articulately.

I try not to give my political views because I think they are akin to religious views in that you shouldn't force them on others. We all have the right to believe and worship as we decide is right for us (guess that's a bit of a political/religious view in-and-of-it's-self.

Oh there is so much I wish people understood about why we were and continue to be targeted in the first place... sigh.

I know the brits seem to be partially involved in EVERYTHING and that half of england is as guilty as the average american in being all high and mighty like something is owed to them over 9/11 and whatever the british equivalent was. Really i have no idea how much the stereotype is true but SO MANY americans do seem to be patriotic to the point of excess ( ... )

Do you live in the UK?

I love England and sort of look at it through rosy glasses, granted... but I dunno, I just don't see the British being as silly as we are.

Or even the Canadians for that matter, and they're right over here with us.

I dunno. I know this is kind of offensive, but there are so many times when I want to go live in England, or in Toronto.

Yep I see you live in Manchester! Guess I could have checked before asking. I really like England.

Haha yep i live in England.

I'm sure we are daft in different ways, but i guess from how i see it the British have a similar approach to Americans, we just often don't push things as far into the extremes. The US obviously has it's good points, but i think i personally would find it hard living in the US and having to have insurance for everything and diferent laws in different states. It just seems a lot easier over here in that as long as you're reasonable you often don't get into trouble with health/law etc, then again i'm probably sheltered from the worst of it due to the areas i've lived in, plus i'm working off my experience of where i have lived and the media/ americans complaining.

Our government policies can be just as stupid, then again thats probably just politicians in general. Example - they want to make a profit out of the FREE National Health Service... not going to happen, no matter how much worse they make it.

"Free Christians" I saw a video about a kid yelling @ the white house about something that had to do about abortion, his sign said that Obama is trying to turn us into an unchristian nation........

we are not a christian nation. This nation was founded on the desire to worship as one see's fit. Only once the non-christian religions got involved did this become a problem (I'm some pagan/buddhist hybrid myself)

I agree with your rant too. I think that revenge makes the world a bitter place. Now for something completely off topic.... You like Evanescence! Cool! Me to! I'm listening to them right now.
